this is by far the song of the week/month... I'm in love with it for some reason.

The band name is The Veronicas and they are twins from Australia.  check out my favorite of their songs... "Untouched"

romantic song of the week....kind of

OK...so I think it's a romantic song even though she sings about being pushed away bitterly.  

I think the second reason I love this video is the CHEESY soap opera that accompanies it.  :)  So enjoy one of my favorite musicians -- Me'Shell Ndegeocello.... "Bitter"

so I was sitting in my FAVORITE movie theater of all time (the Alamo Drafthouse) watching my favorite movie of the summer (Batman).....when the Alamo did their special trailer of their upcoming events.  All I knew was the song was AMAZING.... 

I had NO idea who sang it...so Shazam to the rescue!!

So Sigur Ros just released a new CD last Tuesday and it ROCKS.  I love it. Go get it! :)  Some of my old friends may know that I've loved Sigur Ros since 2001 when I discovered their incredible music.  I can't believe it's been 7 years since I first heard them....but their music has always played a special part in my life and I hope it will continue to do so.

I LOVE THIS SONG!! ....and since my parents flew into Austin today I thought in honor of my mom hating the Katy Perry one, I'd post another bizarre video! haha. LOVE YA MOM! :) 

This song actually has special meaning to me.... it reminds me of a certain Spring semester in a certain college town with a certain someone special... :)
